The silly controversy over a lil "G" word

Do not use the word "Genocide" when referring to the 1.5 million Armenian deaths in the Eastern Anatolia or as I'd prefer to call it, Western Armenia. I actually refer to the 92 years old incident as Genocide, however the US government insists that calling it a Genocide (I am going to quote a line from a letter written by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi) would "harm American troops in the field." So, there is not a single word that says that the Armenian Genocide did not exist. In fact, Ms. Rice even insisted that there should be a debate resolving the Turkish-Armenian problem. However, not once does this government deny the word of Genocide. (Nice politics)

Moreover, the liberty seeking and admiring United States has called April 24 the "National Day of Remembrance of Man's Inhumanity to Man"... (I am going to let you think about his one for a second).

So, here comes my opinion. United States has absolutely accepted the existance of genocide. I mean, that's the only logical conclusion. Yes, Ms. Rice is stubbarn and since she is in politics now, she no longer considers her past in the academia relevant, but, my dear friends, she does not say Genocide did not occur in the Easter Anatolia circa 1915-1923, she simply says that she may get in a bit of political turmoil if she uses the word Genocide. That's all. (This makes me think of another word someone such as Ms. Rice may be quite familiar with, everybody uses that word ofter, yet it is NEVER politically correct to use it.)

However, I am a blunt person, so are nearly 90% of the Armenian peoples. So, I think that this government should be honest with us and with the rest of the American population and simply say the "Genocide" word appropriately.

In conlusion, Considering the fact that the small Armenian-Americans in Washington are driving the whole capital crazy. I would definitely suggest that the word Genocide go into the Capital vocabulary immediately. In return, Armenians will begin voting and voting for those members of the capital who supported our cause. IT"S A FAIR TRADE!.
